Book Title:The Paris appeal A short Story Author: Prithiv Chandar Format: Kindle Edition Total Number of Pages: 15 Publishing Date: 8th Feb 2018 ASIN: B079PYJ836
Paris; the city of love, but not for everyone. Roxane is a young woman who is working at one of the best hotels in the city, and shes barely scraping by. Shes living day by day volunteering after her long shifts and making everything worth it, despite all the trouble. Everything changed after she met Frank Moyer, a wealthy American who had come to Paris on a business trip. He doesnt give her the time of the day, until he loses his temper. He learns more about her, and guilt washes over him. Trying to find her, he sees she has quit, and follows her to her NGO. The next day, tragedy seems to have befallen on the NGO. But in the midst of her sadness, the American walks through the door, and changes her life forever.
The cover is beautiful. The title is apt for the plot.. Its a collection of long short story. The narration is perfect. The best thing about the book is that it flows very smoothly and without any loop holes. As the author points it right in the foreword that in a busy schedule one has now-a-days it is hard to find time during the day to read a book. It is then, when a quick and refreshing read like short stories play their part and keep us entertained. It does that for me and I guess many more share the same views. One might feel the emotions of those characters while they read. The author has done a good job in narrating all the stories with ease. The language is simple to follow which make it easier for the reader to connect to the characters in the stories and resonate with them.
