1. Exercise is a daily ritual
Japanese people tend to be active with their daily work. Bicycle riding, walking, hiking are the incidental exercises that keep them healthy undoubtedly, they do get some time out for themselves for slight workouts but most of the Japanese do not build muscles intentionally.
The breakfast is said to be the major and the biggest meal of the day in Japan which really is, the breakfast consists of many fractions such as the green tea, steamed rice, omelette, fish, miso soup with tofu etc. It’s found that people who has a larger meal at breakfast and smaller at dinner tends to lose obesity faster.

Japanese are very health conscious when it comes to the food; they stay away from excess oil, heavy cooking or anything unhealthy. They choose fresh food, lightly and gently cooked such as quick stirs fries, pan grilling, steaming and boiling. It keeps their skin glowing and young.
4. Rice in every meal
In America, the major reason behind obesity is the flour that they have in every meal where else Japanese have their rice attached to every single meal. Rice is known to be one of the healthiest foods in the world as it gives us an ideal body weight and has many other benefits too.
5. Fresh on season food
They choose food according to their season as the food turns out to be in its best quality by its environment and nature. Supermarkets in Japan are full of freshness and up-to-date foods, they believe in having food as soon as they are harvested.
6. Wholesome staple food
The ingredients every Japan homes own are nothing but treasures, all they have is wholesome, nutritious staples that make up their lives longer and healthier. They live longer and don’t look aged as their food habits and their living style are the ones which stand as a barrier against the wrinkles, aging spots, diseases and harmful fats in their bodies.
