The Invitation is a 2015 American horror-thriller film directed by Karyn Kusama and written by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi. The film stars Logan Marshall-Green, Tammy Blanchard, Michiel Huisman and Emayatzy Corinealdi.
Sideways follows two men in their forties, Miles Raymond (Paul Giamatti), a depressed teacher and unsuccessful writer and Jack Cole (Thomas Haden Church), a past-his-prime actor, who take a week-long road trip to Santa Barbara County wine country to celebrate Jack’s upcoming wedding.

A History of Violence is an adaptation of the 1997 graphic novel of the same name. A mild-mannered man (Viggo Mortensen) becomes a local hero through an act of violence, which sets off repercussions that will shake his family to its very core.
The film is based on Charlie Kaufman’s (known for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) 2005 play Anomalisa. The film follows a lonely customer service expert who perceives everyone as identical until he meets a unique woman in a Cincinnati hotel.

In this adaptation of the autobiography “The Pianist: The Extraordinary True Story of One Man’s Survival in Warsaw, 1939-1945,” Wladyslaw Szpilman, a Polish Jewish radio station pianist, sees Warsaw change gradually as World War II begins. Szpilman is forced into the Warsaw Ghetto, but is later separated from his family during Operation Reinhard. From this time until the concentration camp prisoners are released, Szpilman hides in various locations among the ruins of Warsaw.
